This is a First year Department which refreshes the basic concepts of science on which the different Engineering branch gets developed. This knowledge is extremely necessary for the student as it can be consider as essential pre requisite for all the subjects of any branch of Engineering.

Today though India has developed its own manufacturing Industry in almost every Engineering field however it lacks in actual research for design of these Technologies. The reason is we have dearth of manpower with sound science knowledge.
